The worst item I ever bought in Internet
The adapter has very poor quality not only in its conception but also in its building. Its internal diameter is compatible only with small cameras for which it is too bulky.

Reflections from whatever gets mounted in front
I bought this to add a filter ring to a compact camera so I could try attaching a wide angle conversion lens. While this adapter did fit and I could align the adapter to be in line with lens, this combination did not work. When looking through I would see the reflection of the the lens on the rear of the wide angle conversion lens. I tried this with all of the point and shoot cameras that I had, with the same result. I'm not sure in what combination this would work.

Okay
Does what it says. Clunky and awkward making it somewhat more of a hassle to use than the benefit you get from it.Note: this is only for use with compact digital cameras.

Kinda bulky on camera, but adds some cool flexabillity to your P&S.
I purchased this Adapter for my Canon S110, after reading "M's" review of how it worked out for his Canon S100. I must say that it is a pretty nifty device! The Canon S100/S110 is already a pretty well rounded camera, but I can see a lot of options for added creativity with this adaptor. I also purchased the Zeikos 37mm wide angle and zoom lens combo pack at the same time, with this lens adapter. The only lens I have used that I really like is the Macro lens. The wide angle lens actually is to lenses stacked on one another. When you unscrew the top lens, the remaining lens is the macro. The Canon S110 is already a pretty wide angle camera at 24mm, so an additional wide angle lens is kinda redundant, however; I was able to get a small bit more width into the frame at the cost of some slight fisheye and color fringing on the edges that could very easily be cropped out or edited in post processing. I was very happy with the Macro lens attached to this adapter. The S110 uses a 24mm wide angle lens, and although it can achieve nice bokeh, it is a lot of trouble to change the settings and then remember to change back, all just to shoot one Macro shot with nice defocussing. This adapter with the macro lens makes it all easy, and when done, all I have to do is unscrew the macro. I don't want this to turn into a review of the lenses, diopters, filters and such you can use with this Unvrsl. adapter, but it is so cool to know that, as long as they have 37mm threads, you can experiment with them or get creative. It is not noted in the product description but the adapter comes with a mounting screw for a tripod. This is just a very cool product which allows you to mount additional lenses (Wide Angle, Fisheye,Telephoto, etc.), and filters for a different look to your photos. Just a few Cons, here: When attached to this Adapter, your camera can not be sat down, unless you have a tripod attached. 2.These adapters will not work with your model camera if the tripod hole is off to the side of the camera. AND 3. Be very careful to line your cameras lens up with the adapter hole, so when the lens is extended it does not hit the edge of the adapter. 4.Lastly, make sure there is enough clearance between the attached lens, diopter or filter before you turn your camera on or use the camera's zoom. These things are easy, but just make sure you do them. That's about it. Highly recommended!

Neat!
I have not been able to use this yet because I have to purchase the filters. I have mounted this on the camera and the only problem that I can see is that the flash is covered a little. But with a little zoom it should be fine.

It works
I use this with my Vortex spotting scope (20-60x85 Razor HD) and Canon S95. It works. But you have to flip over the "L" shaped bracket to make it fit. Also, sometimes when you turn on the camera, the lens bumps into the sleeve, and then the lens won't come out, so you have to slide the camera back, turn on the camera, slide the lens back into the sleeve, and then re-tighten the screw. Somewhat of a hassle, but it works.

Works Perfectly As Intended
Works excellent with my Canon S95. The construction is very sturdy, and doesn't scuff the surface of the camera thanks to the rubberized mounting surface area. Locking barrel adjustment keeps everything in line. I find no fault at all with this adapter. One tip: extend your zoom to the max (if your camera has one), then align the barrel and lock it.

Not bad
I had to use the extra adapter that came with to push it a little farther away from the main body. With that it is a little bulky, but still works well.
