No, there are no + or - markings on the magnets

Q: Would this be allowed on a plane?

I wouldn't know, but I wouldn't carry it around. It's too powerful, and could cause you problems. I use mine to check for nails 3/4 deep inch inside of walls, and it finds them every time with ease.

Q: What is the pull strength of this magnet?

Incredibly strong. I don’t have a way to measure it but I cannot pull it straight up and off. Difficult to tilt off too.

Q: Has anyone used this on magnetic nail polish? If so what were the results like? I'm tired of tiny magnets.

This magnet may be too strong for such a thing. I used it to remove a security tag off of a coat. Worked like a charm, but have to store the magnet away from anything metal. It’s very strong.
