The goals as a whole are good. The frame is strong and looks good but the net breaks after a couple of months. So now need to replace it already.

Got the 10ft one for a bargain Prime price and it is superb! Love the steel construction how a goal should be in my opinion, beats all the breaking plastic ones, come well packaged and instructions were easy to follow, my boy loves it!

We might describe this as over engineered these days but that's because of the proliferation of so much shabbily made gear on the market. I prefer to think of this simply as, “properly made”. A high-quality piece of equipment that is well designed and carefully manufactured to a standard that will last many years. In other words, not disposable or wasteful.It took me about 20 minutes to put this together. The tubes are coated steel and although, initially it seems like its going to be a bit of a chore, it turns out it pretty straight forward. It comes with very clear pictorial instructions but you barely need them. Most of it pops together with sprung ball bearings and holes. There are 3 places where it needs the supplied nuts and bolts; one on each upright and one in the middle of the cross bar. Take note, one of each pair of bolts is actually female and they don't come right through the pole, it's a little bit fiddly but you have to line up the female bit inside with the bolt coming from the outside. It's actually better this way because it won't crush the upright and loosen if over tightened. Another good design element.The net fixtures and other fittings are all robustly welded together. This goal is made to very tight error margins and so when you put the final pieces together you may need to jiggle stuff around a bit. Certainly, don't tighten anything up until it's all in place. Once tightened this thing is going stay exactly like it is, I suspect for a very long time.It's really great to see something that really is built to last and not destined to the recycling centre any time soon. Well worth the money.

Really pleased with this 6ft x 4ft football goal by SPORTNOW. With a 13 year old daughter and a 9 year old son, both who like football, this is ideal for us to have in the garden for them to play with.Previously we have had football goals in the garden but they have had a frame made by pretty much tent posts and we very flimsy. The goal frame with this is solid and with its thick circumference is much more similar to a proper football goal!The item comes in a large (it is large!) box containing, the post sections, the net, 3 x screw fixings, 8 x Velcro straps, 4 x ground pegs, 4 x string pieces for tying net to post, tools, instruction manual (please see photos with review).The post sections are all numbered with small stickers which make it easy to assemble following the instruction manual.To affix the next first position in on the frame and then fix 2 Velcro straps either side at the top curve of back of goal. Then get the string pieces and tread through the net and the metal loops on back of goal (see photos) and then thread through the net and wrap around the bottom parts of the frame and tie them in position at ends. Then fit the remaining Velcro straps.Recommend using the ground pegs to help ensure does not fall over.Happily recommend this goal from SPORTNOW to any persons wanting more than a ‘toy’ goal frame for their garden.

Unlike some other golas, this one feels solid.I'm not scared it'll topple or come apart with a simple hit.Good one.

This 6ft x 4ft football goal is a fantastic upgrade from my old plastic one. The metal frame feels super sturdy, especially considering the price - much better value than the flimsy plastic that cracked after a few years. Assembly was a breeze, and it even came with ground stakes to keep it secure on the grass. Just be aware that it needs those stakes, as it wouldn't hold up for long without them.Says 6x2 in listing, it's actually just under 6 x 4Great buy for home training!
