I have two lamps in my office at work and what a difference it has made . The building's overhead florescent lights where giving me migraine headaches - about a month ago I decided to switch my office lighting and exclusively use these lamps (each with a 60-watt incandescent bulb). The shade provides the perfect amount of filter, keeping the light soft yet strong enough to read papers/documents. I highly recommend.

These lamps are beautiful, if you like the modern look. We have a pair of them, one on each side of our Family Room sofa, and they look great together. The metal structure is high-quality, and the cylindrical shades are well-made. We put in color-capable LED bulbs (controlled via phone app), so they also look cool when various colors are set, other than just plain white. Highly recommended.

The overall look and quality of the lamps is great. They give off the perfect amount of light with a 75 watt equivalent soft white bulb. The quality is good in all but one minor detail. One of the lamps (I have two) has a small paint flaw between one set of the double legs. One has to really look to see it, there is slight bubbling. No one has noticed that if its not pointed out to them.The white shades are made of nice material, and seem as good as any other lampshade I have owned. As stated they diffuse just the right amount of light for the room. Reading can be done easily when close to the lamp and a nice diffusion happens about 4 feet away.The lamps are quite compact, taking up just 8.5 inches of table space. Perfect for the small side tables they are placed on next to chairs.I am considering the floor lamp for "mood" lighting in a few places throughout the home.

very happy with this lamp; simple, elegant design. i used an "old-fashioned" bulb for it. creates a nice, soft glow for the dining room. looking forward to the arrival of the floor lamp. BEWARE OF SHIPPING: i ordered a heavy salt lamp at the same time, and the brilliant minds at Amazon placed BOTH in the same box. needless to say, this delicate table lamp got nicely banged up on one side. thankfully, i am able to face the damaged side to the wall. ordering the floor lamp as a SINGLE ITEM.

These lamps are simply awesome, especially for the price. They are well built and look great. The tube is made out of a sturdy nylon and feels durable. Its important to note that these are more for mood lighting in a dark room or at night. If you're looking for really bright, these are not the lamps for you. I bought two of these for my living room for mood lighting when i'm watching movies at night. Two of them together look great on either side of a couch or bed. I couldn't be happier. Also note that the picture is showing you one side with the light on and one with the light off. The color of the tube is an off-white and doesn't look that brown as shown in the picture either.

Gorgeous lamps... however, I ordered two for my bedroom nightstands, and they came to me in different shades. One of them, bright white, the other, a yellowish auburn color. One of the detachable shade covers is slightly tinted. It's strange because they don't even offer shade-color options

Works great with an LED bulb - I'm using a 13 watt bulb that gives 40 watts of light. I don't like fluorescent bulbs because I live in a cold climate and often the room temp is cool enough that it takes the fluorescents a long time to reach full strength.I bought this lamp for my home office and put it in the corner of my stand up workstation. I needed soft light to brighten my work area but didn't want bright overhead or other typical desk lamps because I use touch screen monitors and they catch a LOT of glare. This lamp is perfect, creates a nice, relaxing ambience and was a lot less expensive than anything else I viewed.

I love these lamps. I've now bought 4 of these lamps. They brighten a large room and look elegant. The price is very reasonable. The only assembly is to plug it in. I use high watt bulbs and have Lutron dimmers for each. The lamp plugs into the dimmer cord and cord plugs into wall. The dimmer creates any mood you want.
